Here are 5 things I was looking at and loving this week:
I’m still thinking about Noah Davis’ art that I recently saw at the PhAM aka the Philadelphia Art Museum. What an incredible talent, gone too soon. Now I’m just trying to read everything I can about him, because I feel like I really should’ve known of his work long before now.
This is a great conversation with old friend and OG APADer Rich-Joseph Facun.
I love that there’s a much-needed undercurrent afoot…. a lo-fi rebellion against AI.
Commuting = more podcasts1. I just binged an older one called Lost Hills, about a murder in Malibu. And started Final Thoughts, the Jerry Springer2 podcast.
Because I live in Philly and thus look at Philly social media, I also get served up a lot of Philly-related stuff now (“You might also like…”). Some recent favorites are: these PGA golfers trying to pronounce Philadelphia places, this archival footage of what Eagles fans were (scratch that… ARE) like, and the most spot-on version of what could’ve been… had The Little Mermaid taken place in Philadelphia.
Any recommendations… I’m all ears! Drop ‘em in the comments.
I had no idea he was once the mayor of Cincinnati and a rising star in Democratic politics. Really interesting backstory.

I believe Jerry was the youngest mayor ever to be elected to office at the time. I think someone younger was elected somewhere more recently.
