Great visual journalism on A Journey Across the New Syria by David Guttenfelder.

Speaking of Syria, my friend Lexey Swall recently turned me onto Nick Brandt’s new work: THE ECHO OF OUR VOICES, the fourth chapter in a series. The photographs feature refugee families who fled the war in Syria and are now living in Jordan. I highly recommend viewing it full screen.

I’ve had a tab open about Lorna Simpson’s exhibit at the Met in my browser all week, as a reminder to dig deeper into her life. And to visit the Met before 11/2².
