Here are 5 things I was looking at and loving this week:
The most delicious highlight of the week on Twitter was watching chef José Andrés dunk on a Breitbart editor. Also, for the record, DC consistently punches above its weight as far as great good goes: from Ethiopian to Laotian to Filipino, we’ve got it all. If you’re ever coming this way and want restaurant recs, HMU. I have a spreadsheet that I’m happy to share. :)
The Fourth Estate documents small-town newspaper offices across Kansas. You can read more about Jeremiah Ariaz’s project here.
Magnum photographer Mark Power gave a tour of his studio on IG live. It was nice to hear him expound on The Shipping Forecast, which is a brilliant project.
Like Sahil Bloom, I’ve had a hard time sticking with journaling. So I’m trying his 1-1-1 Method. I first heard him talk about it on the All The Hacks podcast.
David Foster Wallace’s This is Water speech. That is all.
