Hands down: The most exciting, interesting, awe-inspiring pictures of the Tour de France are coming from the husband & wife team of Jered and Ashley Gruber.
Anyone who knows me knows that I ❤️ food. I can and will talk for hours about my favorites hole in the walls in certain cities. I have strong opinions on tacos. I have a spreadsheet (complete with my own rating system) for DC. I’ve picked a hotel based on which night market it’s closest to. And, I’ve planned entire vacations based on where and what I want to eat. This is why each year, I’m excited to see what makes the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List. Looks like I’ve got my work cut out for me. I’ve (sadly) only eaten at one restaurant in the Top 50 (and only 3 total in the Top 100 — fun fact: all three are in Mexico City, btw). Game on!
Fascinating. The world’s most beloved avocado — the Hass — is the consequence of human interference consecrated by happenstance in the hands of a destitute California mailman in the 1920s.
Rightfully, there’s been a lot of talk about how dangerous the heat is, and how the photo editing to go along with these stories should convey that seriousness.
