I’m sorry I missed y’all last week. All of a sudden, it was Friday, and I was like… How did that happen? Where did the week go? And then I was like, oh right, I’ve been insanely busy and can’t wait to tell you guys about it — when I have time!
One thing I try to do when I get busy is slow down and look for the joy in small moments. Recently, looking out of a third-floor window, I watched people walk around a suburban office park on their lunch hour — getting in some steps and soaking in the sunshine and fresh air. It reminded me to try to always take a minute for myself. This cool car in the back of the parking lot also caught my eye.
Here are 5 things I was looking at and loving this week:
If you have an extra $6.5 Million laying around, Robert Frank and June Leaf’s Bleecker Street Studio is for sale.
If you have a peek at Christopher Morris’ reels, he’s been posting some incredible BTS, looking at and talking through gear, old notebooks, and the process. Love it.
Take a tour through the Ramble, Central Park’s Cruising Grounds, in 1969.
I just checked out The Anxious Generation from the library, and this seems relevant — and also like the tip of the iceberg.

I could look this up, but is Robert Frank’s studio the place where he was kneeling on the floor in one of his films and drilling, with an electric drill, through a stack of prints from The Americans?
Aside from the book collection, the best thing about Robert and June's loft is the view, just a half story up from the sidewalk and right THERE. I love that he was so accessible in New York, in contrast to his place in Nova Scotia which was pretty far off the beaten track. The Bleecker Street place looks like it needs a good million or two just for repairs. Regardless, I would love to live there.
