And that totally reminded me of Folu Akinkuotu’s quest to experience international snacks for her Unsnackable newsletter, which I learned about on this episode of Rough Translation (arguably one of the best podcasts!). It also reminded me of why I love travel and traveling closer to home (trips to international grocery stores!) with a few of my favorite finds documented above.
This interview with children’s book author Mo Willems is worth reading (hint: he Has a Message for Parents… He’s Not on Your Side): “Probably the most fundamental insight is that even a good childhood is difficult: You’re powerless; the furniture is not made to your size.”
